The Path Question. Do I Have A Strategy To Reach My Dream?
Do you have a strategy to reach your dream? How do you answer the pathway question? Are you trying to work it out? There is no magic power in having a dream. You can’t just wait for it. You have to work for it. And you have to have a strategy that gives direction and focus to that work.
A strategy is as important a part of the dream as the dream itself.
When I want to create a plan to achieve a dream, I have to start by creating my position in the process… You need to know your present position. Where am I right now? I have to be honest with my present situation. A strategy is first trying to understand where you sit in today’s world. Not where you wish you were or where you hoped you would be, but where you are. Then is trying to understand where you want to be 5 years out. This is exactly what I did when I turned 40 years old however you never late to do this.
“Everyone who got to where they are had to begin where they were.”
You need to understand your future position. Put into words where you want to go. When you identify your future position it gives you direction and motivation to go after your dream.
Never forget to understand the position you are in between. What steps must you take to get from your present position to your future one. You must set a series of small goals to get where you want to go.
Know that life and the pursuit of dreams are messy. Creating the process is a start, and it gets you going, but it is far from being an exact science.
Setting realistic goals is one of the hardest things to do, because you don’t always know exactly where you are going, and you shouldn’t. For me setting goals was to go to school and finish everything I have studied in a timely manner. But I have never stopped learning. Once you state your positions know that you need to start doing.
The real difference between a dream and wishful thinking is what you do day to day.

Passion
Experts spend a lot of time trying to figure out what makes people successful. They often look at people’s credentials, intelligence, education, and other factors. But more than anything else, passion makes the difference.
Nobody can be successful unless he loves his work.
There are four truth about passion:
1. Passion is the first step to achievement: Your desire determines your destiny.
2. Passion increases your willpower: There is no substitute for passion. It is fuel for the will. If you want something badly enough, you can find the willpower to achieve it.
3. Passion changes you: If you follow your passion, you can not help becoming a more dedicated, productive person.
4. Passion makes the impossible possible: A leader with great passion and few skills always outperforms a leader with great skills and no passion.
Is passion a characteristic of your life?

How to take ownership of your dream
1. Be willing to bet on yourself. You may succeed if nobody else
believes in you, but you will never succeed if you don’t believe in
yourself.
2. Lead your life instead of accepting your life – making the right
decisions and managing those decisions daily. The power of choice
is the greatest power that a person possesses.
3. Love what you do and do what you love. Successful people – those
who see and seize their dreams – love what they do and do what
they love. They allow their passion and talent to guide them.
4. Don’t compare yourself or your dream to others – when you
compare yourself with those superior, you feel inferior. When you compare yourself with those inferior, you feel superior. When you stop comparing yourself with others, you feel empowered. Success
is doing that best you can with what you have wherever you start in
life.
5. Believe in your vision for the future even when others don’t
understand you. You are not an accident. You are here for a reason.

Remember To Love Yourself
The love of one’s self is by far the greatest gift a person can give. It is the total acceptance of your flaws and shortcomings! I mean “no one is perfect” is a very popular saying, but no one seems to understand that. Many times our zeal to be different and stand out forces us to make irrational decisions that rob us of our beautiful individuality.
Here are some ideas of the things you should do to love yourself more:
1. Accept your flaws
2. Own your decisions-Do not be sorry when you make decisions that will bring you peace.
3. Avoid toxic people – hang out with people that brings the best in you
4. Always be with those who uplift you
5. Always do the things that make you happy
6. Forgive yourself – we are not perfect
7. Believe in yourself – You have a tremendous potential, be smart, see it, feel it and do whatever you put your mind to do.
8. Be Kind – Always be kind to others
9. Know the boundaries of your sphere
Celebrate your small victories. And understand that you are doing your best just like everyone else is. You are so strong, therefore don’t let anything weigh you down.
Have a lovely week.
Cuanto Tiempo

Initiative
Leaders must show initiative. They most always look for opportunities and be ready to take action.
There are four qualities that leaders possess and these qualities enable them to make things happen.
1. They know what they want: If you are going to be an effective leader, you’ve got to know what you want. That’s the only way you’ll recognize opportunity when it comes.
2. They push themselves to act: Initiators do not wait for other people to motivate them.
3. They take more risks: Proactive people always take risks. One of the reasons good leaders are willing to take risks is that they recognize there is a price for not initiating too.
4. They make more mistakes: The good thing about initiators is that they make things happen. Even though initiating leaders experience more failure, they don’t let it bother them.
Are you an initiator? Are you constantly on the lookout for opportunity, or do you just wait for it to come to you?

To Be Compassionate, Be Present
Your undivided attention makes communication easier.
Warmth, trust, power, and passion cannot happen without presence.
Your spirit can’t fake passion. Your voice and body will alert the world.
To be compassionate, be present. Be with the person you are talking to, not just physically but mindfully.
Compassion says “I care.”
When you are not fully present, even if you try your best to pretend you are, it shows. There is really no way to hide it. When your mind is elsewhere and you are mulling over your to do list while feigning attentiveness to the person who is speaking to you, your facial expressions will be slightly delayed. Even though you are looking directly into the eyes of the other person, your eyes might even glaze over.
*If you want to be effective in your communication, be the person who is present*
