Is It Lunch Time?

I had no idea how much I was going to be missing her at this time of the day. Oh my God. I had no idea. It just hit me. It was time to go to lunch and I wanted to call her. Yes! I wanted to call my mom, but she is not here on earth anymore 😔. I could not call her like I used to do it every day when I would go to lunch. This was my favorite time of the day. I would call her to see how she was doing. Or sometimes she would beat me to it and call me to see how I was doing, or sometimes was just to hear my voice. Sometimes she will tell me things that she forgot to tell me the day before… We just like to talk to each other a lot. We were not just a mother and daughter. We were more than that. We were bestfriends.

Oh, mother, how I miss you. Monday and Tuesday, I cried a lot. I really miss calling you. Ohhhh mother this hurt so bad, but even though I know you are in a better place I still miss you. 💔 I’m hoping it will get easier 🙏. I really do . Now I have to keep my mind occupied at lunchtime so I don’t think so much about it. Your sweet voice, the “Dios te bendiga Janicita” the “how is Keyani?” the jokes, laughs, and moments of silence 🔕 are so well needed but you are not here with me. Mother, I love you. ❤️ I would do anything to have you here with me.

My lunch hour will never be the same, and I need to learn to live without hearing your voice again 💔.
