We had a wonderful time in Nashville TN this past weekend. I hope you can enjoy and appreciate the pictures. Most of you know that it is very important to be able to get along with your teammates. We spend more time with them than we do with our own families.
We do a very good job making sure we all feel good about what we do and that our environment is a safe place to work. Our patients love how we interact with them and how we interact with each other’s.
You must know that dentistry is a very hard career to be in but also very rewarding. We get to change people’s lives for ever on a daily basis. People come to us with lots of anxiety and they come to us very vulnerable and if it wasn’t because they feel comfortable with us that vulnerability wouldn’t happen. This is why we make sure we take the time to be away from our families to fill up our own cup. We have to get better at what we do, we need to get better so we can continue to provide top notch dental care and this is why we get along well and make our place a great place to be.

I am originally from Puerto Rico. I attended and graduated from Mary Baldwin College in 1999 with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Work and minor in Spanish. In 2015 I completed a Business Executive Power Program at MGE – Management Experts Inc. in Clearwater, Florida. At the same time, I also attended and completed the Leadership School at MGE. I am a Certified Medical and Community Interpreter. I am very delighted to be able to help the Hispanic community in my area with their needs. In 2016 I was part of the Leadership Team at the American Cancer Society, and in 2017 I volunteered in a dental clinic in Haiti. I have been in the dental field for over twenty years. Educating our patients is very important to me as well as training our team. I love educating myself about leadership. In 2016 and 2017, I was chosen as Miss Virginia Woman of Achievement.
